I figure that eventually we are going to end up with some threads about Linux versus Windows versus Mac OS X versus whatever. So this folder is the place to put them.

Sound off here about the pros and cons of various operating systems. Which ones do you like? How do they compare with Linux? What are the good and bad points of each OS?

Let's try to keep it focused on feature sets, technology, interface and other interesting details and less on the fanboy "my OS rules, yours drools!" type of stuff.
