How to Ignore RSS Feeds [ST]

Matt made a great suggestion earlier that I wanted to pass on here.
If you don't want to see the threads started via the RSS feeds, be sure to ignore the DLR user ID that posts them. That should hide the threads from appearing for you. :-)
The feeds are set to post one or two articles per week in various sections. It shouldn't be overwhelming and should give us some good stuff to talk about, but if you don't want to see them you don't have to. (woot)

I like the feeds myself, but the ones from Distrowatch are getting a little lame these days. Not necessarily their fault as the news pickings have been might slim lately.
I mean, some of them read like "Joe Blow has released an upgrade patch for his XYZ123 distro. He is sorry for the delay, but he was dealing with a stubbed toe. The purpose of this latest release is to up the version number to the next decimal point...". (rolleyes)
I would say if anything, we need to add more feeds from different sources. Some possible candidates would be the Softpedia Linux tab, and maybe Tech Drive-in, or Linux Magazine or something.

I'll check those out, could be good. You can ignore the DW folder. Just click the folder icon on the left frame and then choose ignore.

Count me in on thumbs up for a couple of interesting news feeds.Having a few feeds makes the forum more interesting.
And I definitely don't care for forums that are a junkyard cluttered with news feeds.

Thanks, I will try to make sure it's not overwhelming. I think one or two items per feed each week should be plenty. But let me know if it seems like too much, we can always chop it back. :-)

Doesn't the DLR ID also post distro reviews?
